Dimondale Deck Builder

Danford Island Park is a fine place for a picnic. The best seat in Dimondale on a July evening, though, is a deck of your own with the grill going and the river breeze coming through. Armored Roofing and Construction is an expert deck builder for Dimondale homeowners, framing in pressure-treated wood or TimberTrex composite. Footings get set below the frost line, and every ledger board gets flashed against the house. Layouts get sketched in your yard around how you actually live, whether that means room for a table of eight or a quiet corner for coffee. Armored was started in 2020 by a third-generation carpenter, and deck framing is where that background shows most. The BBB rates us A+, hundreds of Google reviewers give us five stars, and estimates are free with financing plans available.

Dimondale Deck Replacement

Before recommending a Dimondale deck replacement, our project manager checks five things: the ledger connection to the house, the posts at grade, the joist hangers, the railing posts, and the stair stringers. Two or more failing usually means the structure has reached the end of its life. Deck installation starts with full removal, then new footings if the old ones are shallow, then framing to current code with proper flashing and hardware. From there you choose the surface. Pressure-treated wood costs less and feels warm underfoot but needs staining every few years. TimberTrex composite costs more up front and needs only a rinse, with no splinters, fading, or rot. Built-in benches, low-voltage lighting, and privacy screens can be added to either, and railings come in wood, composite, or metal. What every deck project includes:

• Footings below the frost line and flashed ledger boards
• TimberTrex composite or pressure-treated wood
• Permits pulled and inspections scheduled by our team
• Warranty coverage on qualifying builds
